CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE MATERIALS (CSAM)

There are many forms of exploitation when it comes to Human Trafficking.  LWS began working on Child Sexual Abuse Materials (CSAM) cases in March of 2021. The first thing we noticed was the sheer volume of images involving children being sexually abused (raped) on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and the Clear, Deep, and Dark web. Most images are of children who are between the ages of infant to ten years old. 

There is only one thing that drives these forms of exploitation; "DEMAND." If there weren't a DEMAND, there would not be a market for this type of exploitation.

Through LWS, you will be trained on how to access the various platforms where these images are located.  Once located, you will learn how to identify CSAM images and have them forwarded to and reviewed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) for additional follow-up.  NCMEC is the clearinghouse for all CSEC cases in the United States.
